What changed

Global documentation search now leaves page content visible, so sidebar anchors remain usable and rule-catalog filters keep their selected state. Escape returns focus to search, the slash shortcut leaves editable fields alone, and rule filters announce result counts and reveal directly linked rules.

Improve shared contrast, command-label readability, prose line lengths, table header semantics, and mobile control targets. Clarify which release evidence the verification page reviewed. Include persistent clipboard failure guidance, search loading/error announcements, and immediate installation/report tab changes from the earlier audit fixes.

Security and detection impact

  • No scanner safety boundary, detection behavior, dependency, report schema, or network destination changed.
  • Demo samples and generated reports are unchanged. No audit folders are included.
  • Release verification wording still describes v0.5.3 evidence; it makes no new verification claim for v0.6.0.

Verification

  • cd site && npm run check: zero errors/warnings; existing deprecated clipboard-fallback hint.
  • cd site && npm run format:check && npm run build && python3 check_docs.py: passed; 16 routes, 255 search destinations, six artifact checks.
  • Temporary behavior harness: clipboard denial/fallback failures/retry and search loading/failure/retry/empty/reset passed.
  • Browser checks passed: global search preserves 20 critical-rule results; Escape retains focus; slash types inside local search; sidebar anchors reach visible content; global results reveal filtered-out rules and close the results panel; table headers expose the correct roles; narrow rule controls meet the 44px minimum.
  • Impeccable rendered all 16 routes at 320x568 and 1280x800. No remaining contrast failures, undersized documentation text, or desktop prose line-length warnings. Remaining tracking/shadow/punctuation advisories and two small homepage-text advisories are outside the consolidated defects.
  • Not verified: a real screen reader, forced colors, 200% browser zoom, and rendered reduced-motion behavior.
  • Reviewed the source diff; no scanner or dependency changes requiring Go/security checks.
