…#809) The arrival-open test gave the free job a 100 ms deadline, which a loaded runner can exhaust before the job reaches the opener (macOS CI failure on #808). The rate limiter test folded a burst inside a 20 ms window that a stalled thread can outlive. Both now use margins that only a multi-hundred-millisecond stall can break.
