Summary

  • Loosens dense inline cross-referencing (theorem/lemma/section pointers) in the abstract, introduction, and reduction section in favor of more explanatory, less citation-dense prose.
  • Adds a short bridging paragraph in s2_problem.tex connecting the complementarity structure to the free-set reduction developed in Section 3.
  • Rewrites the companion-papers reference in the abstract to describe them in plain language instead of only via \cite.

Test plan

  • Recompile nncg_paper.tex and confirm it builds without errors or missing references
  • Proofread the revised paragraphs for sentence-level clarity (a couple of spots read a bit rough, e.g. in s3_reduction.tex)
