Grill the Loop board's derived "Needs you" facet, seeded by the AO Kanban research #31

Description

@JacobStephens2

Run /grill-with-docs in a fresh session, seeded by pointing it at research/2026-08-31-ao-kanban-derivation.md - the primary-source read of Agent Orchestrator's fact-derived board, which ends with nine derivation rules already mapped onto the Selector's Eligibility/Journal facts. Research feeds the grill; it does not replace it: none of the rules is decided.

Open decisions the grill must settle (from the 2026-08-31 session that commissioned the research):

• Does /loop's board grow a derived needs-you facet over its existing columns, or a new column? (AO's "Needs you" is a computed union of five conditions, never a stored state.)
• What is the whose-turn split - AO pivots on whether the review loop is the machine's turn or a person's; the Selector's analogue is attempts-remaining vs awaiting-review.
• Does pending CI block a green card, and what staleness window demotes a reading?
• Whether the ## Discovered Progress Log decision (from the beads research, research/2026-08-31-yegge-beads-gastown.md) folds in here - both are about what the operator sees.

If the grill finds this is a multi-session build (likely: Selector-side facts plus UI), continue in the same window: /to-spec then /to-tickets, per the main flow. Related: the notifier wants a board-state event once this facet exists - detection precedes notification.
