Backend Engineer — Systems & Infrastructure · Lagos, Nigeria

I build the infrastructure other engineers depend on: API layers, message-processing systems, and developer tooling designed to hold up under real production traffic. Four shipped production systems across fintech, e-commerce, and developer tooling, plus a growing set of open-source infrastructure tools with real users.

I care most about the unglamorous parts that keep systems alive: idempotency, safe retries, rate limiting, observability, and graceful failure under load.
