![](crt-effect.png)

## Properties

The look is built from several independent parts that you can combine or turn off:

- **Line width** and **Line contrast** control the horizontal scanlines. Set the contrast to 0 to hide them.
- **Curvature** bends the image outwards to mimic the bulge of a glass tube. **Show vertical lines** adds a vertical grid on top of the scanlines.
- **Vignetting**, **Vignetting alpha** and **Vignetting blur** darken the corners of the screen.
- **Noise** and **Noise size** add a grainy static over the image.
- **Interlaced lines speed** and **Noise frequency** animate the scanlines and the static. Set them to 0 for a static, still image.

![](drop-shadow-effect.png)

## Properties

- **Distance** and **Rotation** set how far the shadow is offset and in which direction, so you can suggest a light source coming from a specific angle.
- **Blur** and **Quality** control how soft the shadow's edges are (a higher quality gives a smoother blur at the cost of performance).
- **Color of the shadow** and **Alpha** set the shadow's tint and opacity.
- **Shadow only** hides the object and renders only its shadow. This is handy to place a shadow as a separate object under a character.

!!! note

If the shadow looks cut off at the edges of the object, increase the **Padding** property to enlarge the area in which the effect is drawn.

## Properties

- **Center X** and **Center Y** set where the rays originate from, letting you place the light source (for example off-screen at the top).
- **Angle** tilts the rays, and **Parallel** switches between parallel rays and rays spreading out from the center point.
- **Gain**, **Light** and **Lacunarity** adjust the intensity and the amount of detail in the rays.
- **Animation speed** animates the rays over time. Set it to 0 to keep them still.

This is a faster version of the traditional "Blur" effect. It's recommended that you use this one rather than the "Gaussian" blur effect.

## Properties

- **Blur** sets the overall strength of the blur, and **Quality** controls how smooth it looks (a higher quality is smoother but costs more performance).
- **Pixelize X** and **Pixelize Y** let you stretch the blur more on one axis, for example to create a horizontal or vertical motion-blur-like look.

![](rgb-effect.png)

## Properties

Each color channel has its own **X offset** and **Y offset**. By shifting the red, green and blue channels in different directions you control the strength and orientation of the chromatic aberration — useful for glitch effects, damage feedback or an old-lens look. Set all offsets to 0 to disable the effect.

![](tilt-shift-effect.png)

## Properties

- **Blur** sets how strong the blur is at the top and bottom of the screen.
- **Gradient blur** sets the height of the sharp, in-focus band in the middle: a smaller value gives a narrow strip of focus (a stronger "tiny world" effect), while a larger value keeps more of the screen sharp.
