The repository carries two: docs/changelog.md, which the release PR edits and which currently ends at 0.8.0, and a top-level CHANGELOG.md that stopped being updated after 0.6.0. #22 added its entry to the stale one, where the release notes would not have picked it up.

Follow-up to #22, which added its entry to the wrong file.

the 0.8.1 release notes would have come out empty.
Worth deciding separately whether
CHANGELOG.mdshould be deleted or made asymlink — as it stands it is four releases behind and invites exactly this
mistake.
