Description

Documents the new optional Initiator setting on the Checkmarx One connector reference page, in a new "Selecting scans by Initiator" section:

• Initiator is a regular expression (RE2) matched against the user or service that started each scan, ignoring case and accents. An invalid pattern is rejected when the connector is saved.
• A scan is selected when its branch matches the Branch field or its Initiator matches. Branch-selected branches keep importing their latest scan; other selected branches import their latest Initiator-matched scan.
• Setting an Initiator always syncs per branch, so Initiator-matched and Branch-matched scans never share an engagement or close each other's findings.
• With Branch blank, only Initiator-matched scans are imported, which supports a separate connector for just those scans.
• Only the most recent 1,000 completed scans of each project are searched, and clearing the setting later closes nothing.

The connector change ships in the Pro connectors service in the same release.
