The runtime now uses published Core v0.0.11-rc.1 at 704ee38cdafaa628b713b2965b6d407ab0e4205b, with its required Go 1.26.8 and transitive dependencies. Prefix layout 4 authenticates original labels and targets and rejects distinct-label full-coordinate collisions. Retired layout 1 is rejected by the same current Core path; there is no old-format reader, converter, migration, or fallback.

The dependency upgrade exposed obsolete test inputs: a filesystem selected-Root literal and eight KZG/IPA planner golden Roots. The filesystem helper now constructs the current descriptor through Core; the real cache-proof tests still build and verify real IPA proofs. Planner inputs and fixed-result assertions remain intact, with regenerated Prefix4 base/candidate Roots. Current migration docs describe the exact release pin and rebuilding existing Prefix children and parent Roots. The runtime module remains github.com/dewebprotocol/malt-client; no runtime release tag is created.

Validation: bounded standalone GOWORK=off full Go tests, vet and build all passed; git diff --check passed. Independent review of final commit b2c316d0d11c4d4b16f1f023195048e30cc3bdf6 found no actionable issues after correcting the initial documentation finding. Gateway separately pins this exact runtime source commit for its module dependency and Product E2E checkout.
