About The Pull Request
Prior kindred took bonus heat damage by x4, meaning burning kindred actually didn't actually do bonus damage but the heat from firestacks themselves did. This isn't exactly TT accurate with how they work, and caused issues with if you light someone on fire with enough fire stacks even if they put it out quick will die from temperature far after.
Instead I've set kindred back to normal heat damage, taking heat damage as a normal human. They should probably take decreased heat damage if we were being truly TT accurate - but that creates issues with firestacks damaging them.
Instead Kindred now have a 2x burn damage modifier and incendiary bullets have gotten a bit of face-lift, 5.56 incen doing an extra 10 burn damage on hit and 7.62 incen doing a bonus 20. This means when hitting kindred they'll do 20 and 40 bonus respectively; on top of still lighting people on fire via firestack.
This also buffed the incendiary buckshot a LOT so I had to decrease its pellets to make sure it's not outputting more than ~150 burn damage if you're just barrel stuffing someone with a sawn off using incen. Still very, very strong though given it's still applying fire stack per pellet.
Also makes daylight more deadly in general, fortitude vampires can no longer inherently shrug off the sun for that long.
Why It's Good For The Game
Overall fixes a mild complaint people had where fire itself, such as lighters, welders, flame-related weapons, and even incendiary bullets (that weren't a double barrel incendiary) were doing pea-shooter tier damage to kindred. This now mimics the fact that flames themselves burn kindred rather than pure heat temperature.
Could use a bit more of a run-over with other burn damage items in game to adjust them accordingly but testing with lighters, welders, incendiary bullets, and even a few TG burn weapons it seems to work pretty well.
