Closes #450

What

On 1.68.2 the account creator made, proved and saved a finastra.wd3 account (#448 fixed), and the re-run then failed with "the sign-in … was refused". Finastra's step 1, "Create Account/Sign In", opens on the Create Account form: the same email and password boxes as Sign In, plus verifyPassword and a signInLink reading "Sign In" that turns the form over. The driver typed the saved account into Create Account and pressed that link as the sign-in button, so the form flipped empty and the run was judged refused. The step is also drawn ~7 s after the flow page.

  • EnterWorkdayAsync waits up to 30 s for whatever step 1 shows (sign-in, Create Account, the email choice, or the first wizard step), then turns a Create Account over to Sign In through its link and waits for the sign-in form.
  • The same guard runs in TrySignInAsync on Workday pages, before the visible username and password boxes are chosen, so the walk's own sign-ins get it too.

Tests

A fixture variant (…/Engineer_R2/apply/applyManually) opens on Create Account, drawn 1.2 s late, with a "Sign In" link; A_workday_wizard_that_opens_on_create_account_is_turned_over_to_sign_in signs in through it and reaches Review. The Workday, account and sign-in groups pass (159; one order-dependent LinkedIn worker test flaked in the filtered group and passes alone).

Release

chore: prepare v1.68.3 release bumps all five version files.

…ing in (#450)

A tenant that opens step 1 on Create Account (finastra.wd3) draws the
same email and password boxes as its Sign In, plus Verify New Password
and a "Sign In" link that turns the form over. The saved account was
typed into Create Account and the link pressed as the sign-in button,
so the form flipped empty and the sign-in was judged refused, right
after the account creator had proved that password at the login page.

The way in now waits up to 30 s for whatever step 1 shows (it is drawn
~7 s after the flow page on that tenant), presses the Sign In link when
Create Account is what it shows, and waits for the sign-in form; the
same guard runs where the walk's own sign-ins start, before the visible
boxes are chosen. A fixture variant opens on Create Account, drawn late,
and the test signs in through its link and reaches Review.

📝 Summary

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Bug Fixes
    • Workday sign-ins now switch from a Create Account screen to Sign In before entering saved credentials, including when the sign-in form appears after a delay.
    • The same correction applies to sign-ins started during an application walk, allowing existing accounts to continue through the application flow without being sent into account creation.

Workday sign-in now waits for its controls and switches a visible Create Account form to Sign In before locating credentials. A new dry-run fixture test covers a delayed Create Account form through Review. Version declarations change to 1.68.3.

Workday entry waits up to 30 seconds for sign-in or wizard controls. When a visible Create Account form has a Sign In link, the browser switches forms before locating credentials. A create-first fixture tests a saved account in a dry run through Review. The API, poller, package, and production example versions change to 1.68.3. The backlog marks issue #450 complete.

Delay Create Account until after the earlier Workday waits.

Create Account appears after 1.2 seconds, but EnterWorkdayAsync can spend up to 14 seconds on its earlier control waits. The regression test can therefore reach Review without exercising the new 30-second wait. Delay Create Account beyond 14 seconds but below 30 seconds, such as 16 seconds.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win

Stop credential entry unless Create Account changed to Sign In.

When verifyPassword is visible but signInLink has not appeared, or its click fails, FlipWorkdayCreateAccountToSignInAsync returns without changing the form. TrySignInAsync then selects the Create Account email and password fields. Wait for the link when Create Account is visible, and make the helper report whether the sign-in form appeared. If the transition fails, do not type the saved credentials.
