[Semantic Engineering] Own procedural model authoring, validation and governed release for CWL agents #42

Open

Description

@seonghobae

Parent: ContextualWisdomLab/.github#2067. User explicitly requested ConceptWeave adoption on 2026-09-10, preserving the existing Noema work.

Ownership correction

The original rollout assigned too much of procedural-knowledge engineering to Noema and did not name ConceptWeave. Extend ConceptWeave's existing observe -> discover -> propose -> align -> validate -> review -> publish responsibility to procedural models. This is a CWL architecture decision motivated by Lu, Chen, Wu, and Arık (2026), arXiv:2609.09153v1, not a repository allocation prescribed by that paper.

ConceptWeave owns procedure concepts, typed advisory relations, condition/guidance/pitfall annotations, source/evidence binding, concept/tool-contract alignment, candidate revisions and rejection history, deterministic semantic validation, steward review and immutable procedural-model publication. It does not own product business truth, model/provider routing, runtime lifecycle, tool authorization or deployment activation.

Noema retains its useful execution-pinned graph/session, localized advice, cancellation/lifecycle admission and observable execution evidence from #585/#586. Its arithmetic candidate screen remains preliminary evidence, not a competing model publisher or independent acceptance authority. Model generation/refinement calls use contextual-orchestrator; portable graph/evidence/receipt contracts belong to context-graph-contracts; independent task/measurement protocols belong to the evaluation owner; semantic-data-portal catalogs released artifacts; enterprise-architecture-core records the context/adoption map. Keyverse remains credential authority.

First bounded delivery

A Draft child of the live Foundation #1, not a parallel Foundation or a premature direct-to-main product. Add machine-validatable ConceptWeave-local authoring contracts for procedural-model drafts and offline revision proposals, positive/negative fixtures and the existing Product AJV fixture check wiring. Preserve the original Foundation schemas, Rust source, lock files and all unrelated research/source-observation/client deltas. No production Python/LLM/provider/runtime implementation is added in this slice. Schema validation proves input shape only, not graph referential integrity, real provenance, task success, approval, publication or activation.

The authoring profile separates procedural semantics from factual ontology references, records origin evidence, limits relation/annotation forms and supported locale labels, accepts only candidate/non-authoritative states, and keeps holdout answers/scores out of the refiner-proposal envelope. Candidate labels are ontology labels, not the UI translation ledger. Existing Noema payloads remain unchanged behind a future versioned projection/ACL.

Follow-on acceptance slices

  1. Rust Model Validation: unique IDs/triples; endpoints and entry membership; exact graph/task/tenant/parent binding; evidence membership; qualified concept/tool-contract resolution; material-content digest and determinism; explicitly profiled reachability/cycles without imposing a global DAG; zero silent truncation. Malformed/duplicate-key transport fails closed before trusted construction.
  2. Semantic Discovery: SOP/API/manual/approved observable training evidence -> bounded proposal through CO. No raw credentials, unnecessary PII, hidden reasoning or holdout answer keys. Source legitimacy and minimization require admission, not just schema field names.
  3. Offline evolution: proposed topology/annotation edits against an immutable retained base; pre-registered evaluation protocol; paired evidence from independent evaluators; context-scoped rejected edits; untouched final confirmation; no self-certifying refiner.
  4. Governance & Publication: artifact-content/profile/source/evidence/reviewer binding, consumer-visible compatibility and locale labels, signed immutable release, supersession, CAS publication, revocation and rollback. Publishing a procedural representation does not authorize its execution.
  5. Consumer projection: released-contract Noema projection preserves procedure IDs/edge direction/evidence and emits explicit unsupported/oversized/incompatible results; no source copy or mutable sibling PR dependency. Shadow .github and Naruon first, then each domain's tests/approval/idempotency controls before canary.
  6. Product authoring UX: compare source spans, candidate graph/diff, validation findings, evaluation receipts, steward decisions and release history. Reuse DiagramWeave/inkspan and product-owned components. Figma/Storybook/eight-locale accessibility and interaction checks precede UI completion claims.

Observed prerequisites and writer scope

Observed Foundation #1: 60f14a6e85a83d56c2eea43b34d52b3366bb1735, branch feat/foundation-architecture, Draft. Observed protected main has only README. Existing Product bootstrap #35 and source/client/research stacks stay open; this lane neither closes them nor claims their execution evidence.

This session claims only new procedural authoring contracts/fixtures/docs and narrowly scoped append-only documentation plus fixture-check wiring on its own child branch. It does not push to Foundation, the existing research/client branches, Noema, or central workflow source. Re-fetch before publication; preserve concurrent deltas through ordinary integration. A schema PR is not an immutable release or CWL-wide deployment.

Publication preparation on a separate child of live Foundation 60f14a6e85a83d56c2eea43b34d52b3366bb1735: 19 scoped contract/test/documentation paths, no deletions, no Rust/Cargo/generic-candidate changes, no writes to Foundation/Noema/research/client branches. Root document prefixes were verified against their original Git blob identities; the entire prior gap baseline is retained as an exact byte prefix. Removing exactly the two added Node fixture commands recovers the original Product workflow blob 8700247df9ff597e04ce01ce503b8a29484f5810, so triggers/permissions/concurrency/old gates are unchanged.

Fresh local evidence: 46/46 input-shape cases using Python jsonschema 4.26.0 on Node-materialized fixtures; 16/16 Node fixture-runner tests; 14 ECMAScript strict-identity pattern checks. A real RED identified trailing-newline identity/digest acceptance (44/46 expectations passed), repaired by exact end-of-string matching and rechecked 46/46. Four deliberately shape-positive semantic-gap witnesses remain, not approved graphs.

Native AJV availability failed ENOTCACHED and Rust 1.98 is absent in this authoring environment. Native Product AJV/Rust/coverage/security/review remain unproved; no merge/release/activation authorization is inferred. The proposed ADR and doctoring record retain those limits.

기존 Rust/Cargo/domain truth는 변경하지 않았습니다.

네 shape-positive semantic witness—entry/endpoint membership, logical identity uniqueness, authenticated evidence/base/scope binding—는 Rust semantic admission의 현실 RED로 남깁니다. #43은 Draft/Proposed이며 publication/runtime activation 근거가 아닙니다.

Current authority update for procedural-model engineering: PR #43 advanced by an ADR-only successor to c18681ff8f866ed908391c519f56f140b764034a on Foundation 60f14a6e85a83d56c2eea43b34d52b3366bb1735. The ADR now matches the already-repaired supply-chain path: locked ajv 8.20.0, npm ci --ignore-scripts --no-audit --no-fund, in-process Draft 2020-12 validation, and no dynamic npx/ajv-cli child-process execution. Production/test/schema/package/workflow content is unchanged from 61e08d597643a68515c126dbcca25c2495104adc; this docs commit is not a new Product GREEN.

The next executable semantic RED remains the four deliberately shape-positive witnesses already registered in the 46-case corpus: missing entry, dangling endpoint, duplicate logical node identity with different content, and unauthenticated evidence/base/scope binding. The Rust domain crate still has no provider/network/database dependency, so the causal repair should keep graph invariants deterministic there and consume external authentication through an explicit admission/ACL seam rather than treating caller-supplied IDs/digests as proof. A fresh attempt to obtain Rust 1.98 in this execution environment failed at outbound DNS resolution, and no compiler is installed; exact-head Rust/fmt/clippy/rustdoc/coverage therefore remains unproven rather than being simulated or inferred.

Current procedural-authoring owner update: #43 advanced to exact 10fe16ad14db30d52b3a71ef73eb1b2a93a0f7c4 with a causal Product-workflow repair. Live review found a circular evidence gate: Draft PRs require exact-head Product evidence before Ready, while the current Foundation workflow suppresses rust-quality whenever pull_request.draft == true; it also subscribed to converted_to_draft/closed even though its only job could not run for those events. #43 removes the dead event types and Draft suppression while preserving exact checkout/SHA, CI contract, Rust fmt/Clippy/tests/rustdoc/coverage, locked AJV validation, lockfile freshness and clean-tree gates.

This is not hosted GREEN. Exact 10fe16... currently has no PR Product generation because Foundation 60f14a6... still carries the old workflow definition. Foundation review 5162416696 records the canonical owner repair requirement; #43 review 5162414927 records the leaf exact-head boundary. Keep #43 Draft and repair the Foundation/Product-bootstrap path before using Product evidence to justify Ready. The four shape-valid semantic witnesses still remain for the Rust graph-admission RED→GREEN slice; no runtime/Noema/publication authority is added.

Follow-up current authority: procedural PR #43 is now exact 2c6d3037acdeae2b152c335ee2f60a59b4472831. The first Draft-reachability repair at 10fe16... exposed a second executable RED: scripts/check_ci_contract.py still required the old dead event list and Draft-suppressing if, so Product would have failed its own contract check. 2c6d303... aligns that fail-closed checker with the Draft-safe workflow while retaining runner/concurrency/pinned-checkout/coverage invariants.

The prerequisite is no longer leaf-only. Product bootstrap #35 has been materially repaired to exact 9bb82f041483cb4e0cf1aa1f5450b413309f9a05: Draft heads are admitted, and registry-resolved npx --yes ajv-cli@5.0.0 is replaced by package-lock-v3-pinned ajv@8.20.0 plus a repository-owned in-process semantic-candidate checker. Previous #35 evidence is historical; fresh central required-workflow checks are materializing. Keep #43 Draft until #35 is genuinely accepted/merged, Foundation is non-force restacked and its stale Product/checker pair is repaired, and #43 then adopts that parent with fresh Product/security/review evidence. Rust graph-admission remains the next semantic source slice after this infrastructure prerequisite.

Continuation scope from the repeated user request, parent #43 refreshed at 2c6d3037acdeae2b152c335ee2f60a59b4472831. Preserve all existing supply-chain/CI/ADR repairs; this session does not write the #43 branch or #35/Foundation/workflow/package paths.

New finding: adoption needs two distinct uses, not only a graph-authoring product: (A) ConceptWeave authors/releases procedures consumed by other products, and (B) ConceptWeave's own semantic-engineering task is a first-party procedural-graph consumer. Model authoring and the meta-level procedural refinement loop must have distinct identities, evidence and permissions; self-improvement cannot approve itself or alter steward/policy gates.

Work lane: new dependency-free Rust topology/evidence validation candidate within the existing domain source, its integration test contract, two source-bound inferred authoring/refinement profiles and a scoped continuation runbook. A schema diagnostic on the exact existing schema blob 311937137224cdd3036a9a614901c4a99ba62a6b reproduced 3/3 semantic-admission failures (missing entry/dangling endpoint/duplicate logical ID). That is shape-layer gap evidence, NOT an executed Rust RED/GREEN claim.

Environment currently has no rustc/cargo/rustup and no working package-host DNS; native compiler acquisition was unavailable. Rust candidate/native tests remain blocked/unverified. Profile/schema and Node test-infrastructure checks can execute independently. No old GREEN, inferred source authority, model call, deployment, or new production dependency is claimed. Publish a separate Draft child, with a narrow test-entry seam rather than exposing an uncompiled public library API.

Continuation published as Draft child #44, head f63a2d68e64ae7398b3f5c8c863a2f17553edf99 on exact #43 2c6d3037acdeae2b152c335ee2f60a59b4472831. All nine Git blob identities matched the locally checked bytes. The scoped source-writing claim is RELEASED on handoff; this does not mean software release or accepted deployment.

Scope clarification: only package.json's existing check script was extended to include the new tests/profile checker. Dependency/version/lock files and workflow source were unchanged, and the #43 branch was not edited. This is the minimal test-wiring extension to the original new-path claim.

Done: schema-level missing-entry/dangling/duplicate-ID gap reproduced; two source-bound self-application profiles; Rust validation candidate with 20 authored tests; Node artifact checks 9/9 and independent profile shapes 2/2; native gaps and continuation commands recorded in docs/doctoring/procedural_self_application.md; global .github#2067/EAC#50 handoff and independent PR review request posted.

Blocked/unverified: all Rust tests, compile/fmt/Clippy/rustdoc/coverage, native locked AJV and hosted exact-head acceptance. No public Rust export, strict transport projection, authentic issuer/partition/base binding, release, Noema runtime invocation, publication/activation or measured task-success gain is claimed. Successor should refresh head/base/review, obtain native tooling and execute the existing locked gates; repair before public API/transport integration. Keep predecessors and native error evidence, use ordinary non-force parent adoption, and do not close a valid delta or bypass substantive checks.

Current semantic-engineering successor authority: #44 is now a963a1f24902347f7ec8aca9fd9bee8837986ce7 on parent #43 2c6d3037acdeae2b152c335ee2f60a59b4472831 (OPEN Draft). The prior provenance finding is repaired with preserved RED 86c74f66098ae83df935b11ad250f3a02ff8a732 -> GREEN source a963a1f...: each manifest source must resolve from exact local-Git commit_sha:path to the recorded blob object and exact SHA-256 bytes, with duplicate/malformed/unreachable/oversize/mismatch cases fail closed. Coordinated source-digest + profile-reference + synthetic profile-digest rewriting is now an explicit negative regression. The inline finding thread is resolved after targeted review; this authenticates only pinned design-source provenance, not model truth, steward approval, publication or runtime activation.

Whole-head acceptance is still open: the 20 Rust topology tests/fmt/Clippy/rustdoc/coverage are unexecuted locally and no exact-head Product run had materialized at the last read. Product bootstrap #35 remains 9bb82f041483cb4e0cf1aa1f5450b413309f9a05, with Security/SAST success but CodeQL PR 34434790860 terminal failure. Central protected .github/main advanced to cb0872c9a20d5584703dffacca65c096fc034c6c; .github#2040@6706c231... is now 144 ahead / 32 behind that protected truth, so old-base CodeQL evidence must not transfer. Preserve current owner boundaries and repair/restack centrally before manufacturing a leaf rerun.

#44 advanced again by ordinary fast-forward to exact e22647e6f45f7244552c0e2d74f86dcc8ac0e85c after a second real provenance RED. a963a1f... still accepted a valid commit/blob/SHA-256 tuple if the commit merely existed as a dangling local Git object. This was reproduced in an isolated repo after deleting the orphan branch ref. RED a7e6b821262671c0f72974bfc86ff8b6fd935227 preserves that witness; GREEN e22647e... now verifies the Git top-level, strips ambient GIT_* overrides, and requires each source commit to be an ancestor of the exact checked-out HEAD before existing commit:path/blob/size/SHA-256 checks. Synthetic verification passes an authentic ancestor and rejects the dangling source as source_commit_not_in_head_history. Current exact-head review: 5163281200; CodeRabbit commit status is success, but no Rust/Product acceptance is inferred. Central/bootstrap ordering from the prior comment is unchanged.

Current #44 authority update: source head 898cd641e60426541b567d02ba090b20249c88b2, docs successor 81ce4ac267b46b7309d3e3bdd68b1a0c22212f1c. Review 5163384790 reproduced the checked-in artifact duplicate-key gap: ordinary Node JSON.parse last-wins behavior erased duplicate top-level/nested scope members before AJV/provenance admission. The source repair adds bounded scripts/parse_strict_json.mjs (2 MiB, depth 128), rejects duplicate decoded member identities including escaped-equivalent keys, and routes the manifest plus both self-application profiles through it before shape/provenance validation. Six local Node 22.16 contracts pass. This closes checked-in artifact ambiguity only; Rust production transport/domain admission, exact-current Product/Rust evidence, independent review, publication and Noema activation remain open. docs/product-technical-gap-baseline.md is refreshed on 81ce4ac....

#44 current authority advanced normally to docs successor b29051455a9f93d5c70e3a531cc953f591e1316f; production/test source head is 484db0083c9604cd41112c4a35ae9c31f3d667cc, parent #43 remains 2c6d3037acdeae2b152c335ee2f60a59b4472831. New artifact-admission repair: review 5163577072 identified that Git mode 120000 symlinks are blob objects whose bytes are the target pathname, so blob type/ID + SHA-256 alone did not prove a regular design-source file. RED test 3fd1873..., suite wiring 435155f..., verifier repair aab84a9..., and regular-mode coverage successor 484db008... now bind exact ls-tree mode/object/path and admit only regular 100644/100755; 120000 fails closed. Exact synthetic Node slice on source/test head: 2 tests / 2 passed. No PR-triggered workflow has materialized for 484db... or docs successor b290514...; Rust topology/Product/coverage evidence remains unproven and is not transferred. docs/product-technical-gap-baseline.md and #44 body are current. Next #44 production source work remains Rust transport/domain admission; do not expand local-Git/JS validation into publication or runtime authority.

Current #44 authority update after adopting the intervening Rust semantic-projection lane: exact #44 is 729a0fcc01c327b9548ec961a6a045453ba1f15e, executable source/test predecessor 8029153a86d1bfa959064ce0a6eddd7b928c552f, parent #43 2c6d3037acdeae2b152c335ee2f60a59b4472831. The old semantic-projection P1 is source-addressed by review 5166120254 -> RED 564ea965e2dcf89b84af66d646ad2b7c6b9d1889 -> production repair 502e2719877a5d2945a86faaa7c9f557729280d3 -> topology-fixture successor 8029153.... A stale test-module contract comment that still described the repaired projection as topology-only was corrected in be82c216e51669ef48743aad5864ebe278d78ac8; 729a0fcc... refreshes docs/product-technical-gap-baseline.md to eight repair lineages and moves the next semantic P1 to production Rust transport/domain admission. Exact-current review 5168264711 is COMMENT only. No hosted Product/Rust run has materialized for the newer Rust/docs heads, so native Rust 1.98 fmt/strict Clippy/tests/rustdoc/release/owned coverage, Ready, merge, publication and runtime activation remain unclaimed. Protected prerequisite remains the central versioned backward-compatible CodeQL handler bootstrap, #2051/#2056 non-force current-main reconciliation, unchanged-head #35 acceptance, #35 normal merge, then Foundation/#43/#44 restack.

Current authority checkpoint after fresh root-lane sweep: #44 remains OPEN Draft/mergeable at 729a0fcc01c327b9548ec961a6a045453ba1f15e, executable source/test predecessor 8029153a86d1bfa959064ce0a6eddd7b928c552f, parent #43 2c6d3037acdeae2b152c335ee2f60a59b4472831. The prior topology-only semantic-loss P1 is source-addressed by review 5166120254 -> RED 564ea965... -> production 502e271... -> fixture successor 8029153...; no native Rust 1.98 or hosted exact-head acceptance is promoted from that lineage. The next owner source boundary remains production Rust transport/domain admission: duplicate-decoded-member fail-closed parsing, canonical Draft 2020-12 mapping without absent/present semantic loss, and candidate scope comparison against independently authenticated tenant/task/base/revision context before any public/export widening.

A separate live coordination drift was repaired without moving source heads. Foundation #1 review 5168633739 -> metadata repair -> follow-up 5168645031; Client #5 review 5168650323 -> repair -> 5168659499; Source Observation #6 review 5168667027 -> repair -> 5168674540; Research Intake #9 review 5168681194 -> repair -> 5168688749; pending-source #40 review 5168690969 -> repair -> 5168698260. These bodies now use unchanged #35 9bb82f041483cb4e0cf1aa1f5450b413309f9a05, protected central .github/main@cb0872c9a20d5584703dffacca65c096fc034c6c, historical-base/diverged #2040/#2051, and OPEN Draft #2056. They also align on the current central causal order: versioned backward-compatible protected handler first -> ordinary non-force #2051/#2056 reconciliation -> exact central GREEN/review -> unchanged-head #35 acceptance -> normal bootstrap integration -> fresh leaf/root acceptance. No predecessor execution evidence is transferred by these metadata repairs.

CWL-wide procedural ownership/adoption remains anchored by parent .github#2067, which is an open architecture issue, not a PR. No force push, destructive rebase, self-approval, manual/no-op rerun, Ready/Draft trigger manipulation, protected merge, semantic publication or runtime activation was performed in this checkpoint.

Fresh semantic-engineering checkpoint: #44 remains exact 729a0fcc01c327b9548ec961a6a045453ba1f15e (Draft; executable predecessor 8029153a86d1bfa959064ce0a6eddd7b928c552f), with no PR-triggered hosted runs. Canonical Draft 2020-12 schema still makes transport/presence semantics a separate boundary; the unpublished Rust validator preserves semantic fields/topology but deliberately does not parse JSON or authenticate caller/source/artifact authority. #43 body had drifted and still described missing-entry/dangling-endpoint/duplicate-logical-identity admission as wholly future work. Review 5169365632 recorded the finding; the body was repaired in place without moving source 2c6d3037acdeae2b152c335ee2f60a59b4472831; follow-up review 5169373018 narrows that to coordination-metadata GREEN. Remaining #44 P1 is strict Rust transport/domain admission plus independently authenticated tenant/task/base/revision, not a repeat of the already-addressed topology/semantic projection.

Upstream central owner remains the prerequisite. Protected .github/main is cb0872c9a20d5584703dffacca65c096fc034c6c. Fresh compare of current protected main to .github#2040@6706c231ab06a3c91c43fdb5b989cfcd79fff593 reports merge-base 7fd571dbcdbae6acf29d8f4ee704d7ba6297e4db, while #2040 body still labels that historical SHA as protected base and says 144 ahead / 0 behind. Review 5169361983 handed that authority/ancestry defect to the central owner: preserve the valid handler/producer/SARIF/settlement deltas, but non-force reconcile them (or the verified versioned-handler successor) onto current protected truth and regenerate exact-current evidence. No ConceptWeave leaf churn/manual replay/Ready toggle is corrective evidence.

#44 current authority advanced by ordinary forward history to docs head 76e5245f518f3b87d945eba369095f201e21f246. P1 review 5169924981 identified that Rust semantic/topology validation assumed strict transport parsing outside the production-language boundary. RED scaffold b8f9e68532ba3a286c3e2d1a9ba3817e8e080ca9 + regression 07efa642ade33af2bcd37aa270c93a2dc5d7d6f8 were followed by private std-only parser repair 1100972a1bfbe106d877a40a4fd38732cbe5d969 and grammar/boundary test successor 04bc5c28865c40db2c67c5f8e568ff679f304cb2. It now source-addresses 2 MiB/128-depth bounds, strict JSON grammar, UTF-16 surrogate pairing, duplicate decoded member rejection including escape-equivalent keys, and fixed non-echoing diagnostics. docs/product-technical-gap-baseline.md and #44 body are code-current; exact-current follow-up review is 5170002317. Native Rust 1.98/Product GREEN is not claimed: no current hosted check-run materialized and this runtime has no pinned Rust toolchain. #44 remains Draft/private. After native acceptance, next owner slice is lossless Draft 2020-12 transport-to-domain mapping, then independently authenticated tenant/task/base/revision admission. Central prerequisite remains protected-handler bootstrap -> #2051/#2056 current-main reconciliation -> unchanged #35 acceptance; no manual/no-op replay or gate weakening.

#44 current checkpoint: transport owner boundary advanced from decoded &str to raw borrowed bytes. Finding review 5170467082 identified that the previous entry point could not enforce the 2 MiB wire ceiling before UTF-8 decoding or fail closed on malformed UTF-8. RED a6c10bfd9219736c325c8195059c2e978e8f491a -> production repair d4a89af78153137f74eed1e6a6a2b64580b4d4a1 -> corrected boundary tests ce6b064abeb1db2184d7ecf6ea2d4756d500bbb6 -> code-current baseline/head cbee8d0aba882a6d5f06e054aca93f78ed2521c8; exact-current follow-up review 5170516476. The private &[u8] seam now applies the byte ceiling before from_utf8, rejects malformed UTF-8 without lossy conversion, then runs the existing strict duplicate-decoded-key JSON recognizer. No public/export, schema, semantic authority, publication or runtime capability widened. Native Rust 1.98 and hosted Product acceptance remain pending; next source gap remains lossless Draft 2020-12 transport-to-domain mapping, then independently authenticated tenant/task/base/revision admission.

Semantic-engineering checkpoint for #44: canonical Draft 2020-12 marks semantic_refs optional but requires minItems: 1 when present. Review 5171000125 found that the Rust projection used bare &[] for absence, collapsing valid absence with invalid present-empty input before mapping. Source contract f9534b3a98341ff57505f0fc49529caf3b9f26ff introduced explicit Some(&[]) rejection; production 7c607d8691fbe045dc419d21b2aff4777bad7043 changed the projection to Option<&[ArtifactReferenceView]>; compatibility tests d48e2731b390ae26bcba484cdafd087dc1d13b92 carry existing topology fixtures as None; docs successor 2784e4c775e3e4be216e362306d697f7943724ae records the eleventh repair lineage. Exact-current review 5171063202 limits the claim: no native Rust 1.98/Product GREEN and no publication/runtime authority. Next owner seam remains complete Draft 2020-12 transport-to-domain mapping, then independently authenticated scope admission.

    Procedural semantic-engineering checkpoint — 2026-09-11 current lane.

#44 mapping P1 review 5171563060 is now source-addressed by behavioral RED d8e93f752801967c6708bfbea69253db459e811e -> source/test e779caeab6bd0e3a1bf26ef834e3a3b2a3677306 -> code-current docs head 1967f0b8e70cdec43dd56ead59cc89725bb32400. The private Rust ingress materializes one bounded strict decoded JSON tree, enforces the canonical Draft 2020-12 root/node/edge shape and constants before domain construction, preserves semantic_refs presence and conditional tool_contract_ref, and then invokes semantic/topology validation. It remains Draft/private and is not native/Product accepted: no pinned Rust 1.98 execution is available here and no PR-triggered run has materialized for the new source/test head.

Dependent coordination authority was repaired without moving source SHAs: #35 review 5171684710 -> metadata follow-up 5171689932, #43 5171691284 -> 5171696164, Foundation #1 5171697550 -> 5171702312. All now point to #44 1967f0b8..., twelve repair lineages and the next source boundary: independently authenticated tenant/task/base/revision admission around the mapped Draft. Keyverse retains identity authority; released artifact authenticity/ACL/capability, stewardship, publication and Noema/runtime authority remain separate.

Central prerequisites are unchanged at protected .github/main@cb0872c9a20d5584703dffacca65c096fc034c6c, #2051 558693e... OPEN Draft on historical 7fd571db..., and stacked #2056 69ae472... OPEN Draft. Keep unchanged #35 9bb82f... as consumer canary; no manual/no-op replay, force history, gate weakening, self-approval, Ready/Draft manipulation, publication or release.

Procedural self-application checkpoint after current-state review:

Current causal path remains central versioned CodeQL handler bootstrap → #2051/#2056 current-main reconciliation → unchanged #35 exact acceptance/normal merge → Foundation Product/CI-contract restack → #43/#44 ordinary restack + native Rust evidence → immutable Keyverse-backed application request binding → released artifact/ACL admission → evaluation/steward/immutable publication. No force push, destructive rebase, self-approval, gate weakening, no-op/manual rerun, Ready/Draft manipulation, merge, publication or runtime activation was used.

2026-09-11 checkpoint: #44 advanced by ordinary forward history to 1510be070dbad7bcece49ee3bf400d23f9bccebb. Review 5172576660 found a P1 docs-to-code authority drift: PRD still called the slice schema/fixture-only, TRD still described ajv-cli 5.0.0 and future Rust checks, and ADR-PG still called the Rust boundary wholly planned even though #44 already contains private raw-byte/UTF-8/strict-JSON admission, Draft 2020-12 mapping, semantic/topology validation and revision-envelope/base/context binding. Repaired PRD c6305efc..., TRD 7e7cda6f..., ADR 2aae1f27..., ARCHITECTURE a2058142..., then updated docs/product-technical-gap-baseline.md at 1510be07... to record fourteen lineages. Exact-current review 5172619584 limits this to documentation/authority GREEN; there are still no hosted Product runs on #44 and no native Rust 1.98 acceptance. Keyverse main@7d9151cd... still has no published release; #155 remains the owner gap for immutable authentication trust evidence. ConceptWeave will wait for that released artifact, then apply its own exact proposal/base resource authorization rather than copying mutable Keyverse source or minting a local auth flag.

    Procedural self-application checkpoint: review 5172999844 found that the canonical revision ingress validated but discarded variable proposal semantics (proposal_origin, training_evidence, rejected_edit_refs, change_rationale) before returning only topology. Source-level RED 380ed69f00373831cfe9c8ce51a84fd26e7c434f -> production repair 90ad1e069cd70aa81190cdcbbea4d89d05f8af2e -> test successor b4ec9607b5965cf87e3eb050382eacd97bbd74d5 -> code-current baseline 34196a6c6c6eee137094d907eeacf94ac5c53d67; exact-current follow-up review 5173050698.

The typed private ProceduralRevisionAdmission now retains origin, exact base, complete candidate, training evidence, rejected-edit refs and rationale after the same strict schema/context path, while the compatibility validator delegates to it. This does not authenticate/authorize/promote the retained evidence. Exact-current hosted workflow count remains zero and pinned Rust 1.98 is unavailable here, so #44 stays Draft/private. Next owner boundary remains immutable released Keyverse trust consumption -> ConceptWeave exact proposal/base authorization -> released artifact admission/evaluation/steward/publication.

2026-09-11 semantic-engineering checkpoint: #44 advanced by ordinary forward history from 34196a6c... to e9e50b631b297339950d5064b3ac268a9f7b080c. Review 5173430684 found canonical Draft 2020-12 whitespace parity divergence: AJV/ECMAScript \S rejects U+FEFF-only annotation/location text, while the public borrowed Rust validator used str::trim() and could accept it. Source-level RED 029502b278552929677e62ee9df23afd48fd77d6 adds direct-validator U+FEFF witnesses; production repair 1ace968b309334bdba8475f8357a207d405ca96b mirrors the canonical ECMAScript whitespace set for annotations/evidence locations; baseline e9e50b63... records lineage 16; exact-current follow-up review 5173451387 keeps it Draft/non-public because native Rust 1.98 and hosted Product evidence are still absent. #43/#35/Foundation coordination metadata was updated without moving their source heads. A related generic Foundation discrepancy remains: EvidenceReference::new / SemanticCandidate::new still use Rust trim; review 5173461698 queues that root repair after #35 normally integrates and Foundation is non-force restacked. Keyverse still has no published GitHub release, so no mutable identity-provider source was consumed.

2026-09-11 follow-up: after the U+FEFF/ECMAScript-whitespace source repair, the self-application doctoring artifact itself was found materially stale (topology-only description, obsolete 20-test snapshot, strict transport still marked pending). docs/doctoring/procedural_self_application.md is now reconciled at #44 exact 8b732cfe9e3c09e70d91c5ca028b7ddd2b3a8ba8, with current raw-byte -> strict JSON -> Draft mapping -> semantic/topology -> revision-admission sequence and standards traceability; exact-current review 5173486723. This is documentation/traceability repair extending lineage 16, not native GREEN. #44/#43/#35/Foundation bodies now point to 8b732cfe...; their source heads remain unchanged except #44. Native Rust 1.98/Product evidence remains absent; the generic Foundation U+FEFF gap remains queued behind #35 under review 5173461698.

#44 checkpoint — current child authority 09b738dbccceba88da317e134ffdb2601c77168c, OPEN Draft/mergeable. Review 5173839274 found the inverse cross-runtime text mismatch left after U+FEFF: ECMAScript regexp whitespace excludes Unicode-only U+0085 NEXT LINE while Rust str::trim() follows Unicode White_Space. Source-level RED 692928c8... -> validator dfc53268... -> manual ingress bb07a5d6... -> procedural Draft schema 832f7f84... -> AJV regression 6ea9aeb9... -> transport-to-domain regression eee54d25... -> baseline 9a8edac2... -> standards/doctoring 09b738db...; exact-current follow-up 5173882360. #44 now preserves 17 repair/authority lineages and uses one procedural blank union (ECMAScript whitespace/line terminators including U+FEFF + U+0085) before inherited Foundation evidence construction. No native Rust/Product GREEN is claimed: exact head currently has no PR workflow run and combined status only CodeRabbit success. Foundation generic parity remains owner finding 5173461698 behind #35; no Foundation source was modified from this child.
