Summary

This PR hardens Windows installer behavior by removing remote-script uninstall from Apps & Features, adding deterministic setup uninstall flags, replacing runtime PowerShell download/hash operations with native Rust logic, and preventing false-positive installs when no browser registration succeeds.

Changes

  • ARP uninstall now points to local setup uninstall in silent mode
  • Setup supports CLI uninstall and silent flags
  • Runtime download/checksum in setup now uses native Rust HTTP + SHA256
  • Installer now fails when zero browser host registrations succeed
  • Installer plan updated with implemented hardening steps

Validation

  • cargo check -p freemid-installer
