Mobile users could not open navigation from the homepage or switch top-level areas from an article. Reuse the existing docs drawer on both layouts, with section and product selectors derived from the generated navigation tree, plus the existing language and theme controls.
Fix clipped drawer tools caused by duplicate padding, hide the desktop search shortcut on mobile, bind the existing sidebar filter to the cloned drawer, dim the backdrop, and close the drawer when switching to desktop width. Preserve the current locale in the mobile home link.
Validated representative homepage/article flows at phone widths (320px and 390px), tablet layout at 768px, and return to the desktop sidebar at 1280px. Checked section switching, filtering/reset, dismissal/focus restoration, French navigation links and language menu, and contained table/code scrolling in the targeted audit. Astro check passed: 0 errors, 0 warnings. Real-device touch and virtual-keyboard testing remains outstanding.
The API playground mobile layout was checked separately against the deployed preview of the related PR; this PR does not include its changes.
