Benchmark RPC

This is a Next.js app for benchmarking multiple Ethereum RPC APIs on several common endpoints.

Getting Started

1. Clone the repository
2. Install the dependencies
3. Update the /config/rpc-urls.json file with your RPC URLs
4. Run the development server

npm run dev

Configuration

Set BENCHMARK_WORKERS to control the maximum number of concurrent RPC requests. It must be a positive integer and defaults to 4.

Set BENCHMARK_TIMEOUT_MS to control the timeout for each RPC request. It must be between 1 and 60000 milliseconds and defaults to 60000.

Set BENCHMARK_RESPONSE_MAX_BYTES to reject unexpectedly large RPC responses. It must be a positive integer and defaults to 67108864 (64 MiB). Large block, receipt, log, and trace responses run sequentially to limit peak memory usage.

BENCHMARK_INTERVAL_MS, BENCHMARK_SAMPLES_MIN, and BENCHMARK_SAMPLES_MAX must be positive integers. The minimum sample count must not exceed the maximum sample count.
