An open-source project for telling a person's life through facts, stories, photographs, and other media, with the potential to publish as a website, a book, or a selected collection.
Status: discovery and planning. There is no application yet. This repository preserves the founding conversation, research, decisions, and questions so development can continue with human or agent assistance.
The founder explicitly requested that implementation not start now. All prototype ideas are future planning only.
- Fetch the project, run it locally, and make it your own.
- Keep information flat, understandable, and portable. Agents may handle conversion and other heavy lifting.
- Let creators choose their own structure, voice, and presentation. Chapters, links, and templates should help without becoming mandatory.
- Accept different sources over time without making Obsidian or a proprietary editor mandatory.
- Explore attractive websites and focused design alternatives. Start with the website and include an early example of how selected content becomes a book.
- Design for selective sharing, including the possibility of private material for closer relatives.
Astro is the founder's preferred candidate, not a finalized architecture. Starlight is an option to evaluate, not a requirement.

The public repository is for software, documentation, and explicitly fictional examples. Personal biography material belongs in a separate private location. No personal vault or albums have been imported.
