Summary

Completes the Simplified Chinese (zh-Hans) translation of the site so that all published content plus the blog are fully localized.

What's included

  • v1.4 docs: all 52 pages translated (vetted v1.5 translations reused where English sources are identical; diverged files adjusted per-hunk; heavily rewritten pages fully retranslated)
  • v1.2 docs: all 45 pages translated (built on top of the v1.4 translations, with v1.2-specific content restored, e.g. NixOS unstable setup steps, dms-plugin: layer namespace, Gentoo-free install guides)
  • Blog: all 6 posts translated (release announcements and feature overviews; the 309-entry technical commit log in the v1.5 post is kept in English per changelog convention)
  • UI strings: code.json now 97/97 translated (remaining aria-labels and page titles)
  • Sidebar labels: version-1.2.json, version-1.4.json and current.json translated (brand names, CLI, Flake and version numbers kept as-is per existing convention)

The v1.6 (current/unreleased) docs are intentionally left untranslated until the release stabilizes.

Verification

  • npm run build -- --locale zh-Hans passes (onBrokenLinks: 'throw')

⚠️ Review note

The translations are machine-translated and have not yet been human-reviewed. AI-assisted proofreading will be performed as a follow-up before considering them final.

Follow-ups (not in this PR)

  • Sync 3 spots in the v1.5 translation that lag behind the v1.5 English source (nixpkgs.url references, Hyprland Lua config snippets)
  • AI-assisted proofreading pass over all zh-Hans content

Author

Hi,

I would like to ask whether you are open to adding i18n support for the project documentation.

If this direction sounds good, I can follow up by adding an i18n development and translation guideline to make it easier for other community members to participate in translations. I can also take responsibility for reviewing the Chinese translations based on the original English documentation to help ensure accuracy.

If you are okay with this approach, I can continue improving the current PR accordingly.

Looking forward to your feedback. Thanks!

Best regards,
Hanserwei

…trings

- Translate all 52 v1.4 docs (reused vetted v1.5 translations where
English sources are identical, adjusted per-hunk for diverged files,
and fully retranslated heavily rewritten pages)
- Translate all 45 v1.2 docs (leveraged v1.4 translations, restored
v1.2-specific content such as NixOS unstable setup and dms-plugin:
  layer namespaces)
- Translate all 6 blog posts (release announcements and feature
overviews; 309 technical commit-log entries in the v1.5 post kept
  in English by changelog convention)
- Complete remaining 6 untranslated strings in code.json (97/97 done)
- Translate sidebar labels in version-1.2.json, version-1.4.json and
current.json (brand names and version numbers kept as-is per
  existing convention)

Verified with \`npm run build -- --locale zh-Hans\` (passes with
onBrokenLinks: throw).

Note: translations are machine-translated and not yet human-reviewed;
AI-assisted proofreading is planned as a follow-up.
