A comprehensive browser extension that enhances Nyaa torrent sites with batch copy/download/send, on-page filtering, monitoring, torrent-client integration, metadata from external websites (AnimeTosho, ameNZB, nekoBT, Tsukihime, and SeaDex), and a Similar tab for related, recommended, and same-vibe anime.

Nyaa Enhancer is a browser extension that turns Nyaa into a faster torrent workflow. It adds batch magnet copy, torrent download, and send-to-client actions, an on-page Filters panel, Quick Search, user and keyword monitoring, optional metadata from AnimeTosho, ameNZB, nekoBT, Tsukihime, and SeaDex, and a Similar tab that finds related, recommended, and same-vibe anime. Most options live on a Settings page in the Nyaa navbar; the extension popup is reserved for torrent-client connection details and API keys.

Torrent list toolbar:
- Checkboxes next to each torrent, with Shift+click range selection
- Grouped Copy / Download / Send actions (selected and all visible)
- Invert and Clear selection, plus a live selection counter
- Per-row magnet copy and Send-to-client buttons
- Quick Search, Keyword Select, and Keyword Monitor buttons
- Show more under the table to load the next page in place (skips pages fully hidden by filters)
- Optional Auto-load bar above the table: one-click loading until N torrents are visible (max 1000), with rate-limit guardrails
- Toast notifications with progress tracking for batch operations
History (/history; enable in Settings → History):
- Off by default. When enabled, logs torrent page visits, magnet copies (Save),
.torrentdownloads, and sends to your client — including actions on torrent view pages - Each entry stores the torrent info hash from the magnet link (
urn:btih:…) - Filter by action (all on by default; click to hide any combination)
- Date range: last 24 hours (default), week, month, 3/6 months, year, or a custom from/to calendar
- Search by name, torrent ID, or info hash
- Copy magnet, download the
.torrent, or send to your client from any row - Stored locally in a compact log with a user-set event cap, not synced
- Clear from the History page or Settings → History
Filters panel (above the torrent table):
- Hide dead torrents (0 seeders / leechers)
- Minimum seeders threshold (hide torrents below a seeder count)
- Keyword filtering with independent Block and Require lists (both can be on at once)
- Named filter presets (save, apply, rename, replace, remove, reorder)
- File size filter with a min/max range slider and unit selectors
- Completed-downloads threshold (greater than, equal to, or less than)
- Upload date (last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, 365 days, or a custom from/to range)
- Hide torrents already in History (pick Visit / Download / Save / Send)
- Reset all to turn every filter off at once
Quick Search:
- Search by title, encoder, quality, format, source, and category
- Dual Audio, Season Pack, Last 30 Days, and optional file-size range
- TMDB title autocomplete with TheXEM aliases (requires a TMDB API key in the popup)
- Optional “Remember selection” to restore the last search form
- Named search presets (save, apply, rename, replace, remove, reorder)
Torrent view pages:
- Magnet copy and Send-to-client on the view page
- Click the torrent title or info hash to copy them
- Tabbed panels: Description, AnimeTosho, Similar, ameNZB, nekoBT, and Tsukihime
- AnimeTosho screenshots, FileInfo, downloads/attachments, and comments
- Improved file list with total and per-folder counts

Similar Anime (view-page tab):
- Identifies the anime via SeaDex, AnimeTosho series, Tenrai, then AniList - nothing is fetched until you open the tab
- Related (sequel, prequel, spin-off, movie), Recommended (MyAnimeList + AniList by default, or TMDB if enabled), and Same vibe (shared genres, tags, and studio)
- Adjustable same-vibe mix in Settings; changing it re-scores cached titles without extra API calls
- Click a card for synopsis, score, and links; Ctrl/Cmd-click still searches Nyaa (or opens Quick Search if enabled)
- Results are cached (ID mappings up to 30 days; recs and details 24 hours); clear from Settings if needed
Torrent client integration:
- Send torrents to qBittorrent, Transmission, or Deluge
- qBittorrent categories and tags, with defaults or a prompt on each send
- Batch Send Selected / Send All from the list toolbar
Highlights:
- Color torrent-list rows when the name contains a custom keyword or phrase
- Per-keyword color picker in Settings
- Optional toggle to keep SeaDex colors on top when both apply
Monitoring:
- Monitor uploaders from their user page
- Monitor keywords from the list toolbar or Settings
- Sidebar notifications on the left edge when new matching torrents appear
Settings and changelog:
- Dedicated Settings page at
/settings(also in the Nyaa navbar), with a search box to jump to any option - History page at

To install the extension in your browser, follow these steps.

Download extension files locally (always up-to-date):
Chrome/Any chromium based browser (Edge, Brave etc.):
- Download the zipped files of the repo or clone the repository

List toolbar:
- Visit any supported Nyaa torrent site
- Use the checkboxes to select torrents (Shift+click for range selection)
- Use Copy / All to copy selected or all visible magnet links
- Use Download / All to download selected or all visible
.torrentfiles - Use Send / All to send selected or all visible torrents to your configured client
- Use Keywords and enter a keyword to check matching torrents on the current page
- Use Invert / Clear and the selection counter as needed
- Use per-row magnet and Send buttons for a single torrent
- Use Auto-load above the table to keep fetching until N torrents are visible, or Show more under the table to append the next page
Filters:
- Open the Filters panel above the table
- Hide dead torrents (0 seeders / leechers)
- Require a minimum seeder count
- Block keywords from a custom list (hide matching titles) and/or require keywords (show only titles that contain at least one)
- Save the current combination as a named preset; apply, rename, replace, remove, or reorder presets at the bottom of the panel
- Set a file-size range with the min/max slider
- Filter by completed downloads (greater than, equal to, or less than)
- Filter by upload date (Day, Week, Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, Year, or a custom from/to range)
- Hide torrents already in History by action (Visit, Download, Save, Send)
- Use Reset all to turn every filter off without clearing your keyword list or ranges
History:
- Enable History in Settings → History (off by default); the navbar link appears once it is on
- Open History in the navbar or visit
/history - Leave every action chip on, or turn off Visit / Download / Save / Send
- Pick Day (default) or a wider window; Custom opens from/to dates
- Search if you remember part of the title, torrent ID, or info hash
- Copy magnet, download, or send from a row without opening the torrent page
- Set an event cap or clear the log from Settings → History
Quick Search:
- Build a query from title, encoder, quality, format, source, category, Dual Audio, Season Pack, Last 30 Days, and optional file size
- With a TMDB API key (set in the popup), titles autocomplete and TheXEM aliases can be included
- Enable Remember selection to keep the last form state
- Save the current form as a named preset; apply, rename, replace, remove, or reorder presets at the bottom of the popup
Send to torrent client:
- Open the extension popup → Torrent Client
- Choose qBittorrent, Transmission, or Deluge, enter the WebUI URL, and optional credentials
- For qBittorrent, disable CSRF protection in the WebUI (Options → Web UI)
- Click Test Connection, then Save. The first test asks the browser for permission to that host only
- Enable Show Send to Client button on the Settings page if the Send buttons are hidden
- For qBittorrent, manage categories/tags and “Prompt on Send” on the Settings page
Monitoring:
- On a user page, click Monitor to track that uploader
- Use Keyword Monitor on the torrent list, or add keywords on the Settings page
- New matches appear in the sidebar on the left edge of the screen
Highlights:
- Open Settings → Highlights, add a keyword or phrase, and pick a color
- Matching torrent names in list tables are tinted with that color
- Enable Prioritize SeaDex highlights if SeaDex colors should win when both apply
View pages:
- Copy magnet or Send to client from the view page
- Click the torrent title or info hash to copy them
- Optional tabs and links for AnimeTosho (screenshots, FileInfo, downloads, comments), ameNZB, nekoBT, and Tsukihime
- SeaDex highlighting and hover screenshot preview when enabled
Similar Anime:
- On an anime torrent view page, open the Similar tab (nothing is fetched until then)
- Browse Related, Recommended, and Same vibe; click a card for details, or Ctrl/Cmd-click to search
- Tune the same-vibe mix, TMDB recommendations, and Quick Search behavior in Settings → Similar Anime
Settings page (/settings, also in the Nyaa navbar):
- Use the search box at the top to filter settings by name or description
Download:
- Use display name as filename: use the torrent title instead of the original filename
- Combine downloads as ZIP: bundle multiple torrents into one ZIP
Interface:
- Show button controls: master toggle for the toolbar, checkboxes, and actions
- Show Quick Search button
- Show Magnet Copy buttons
- Show Send to Client button (requires a client configured in the popup)
- Show Monitor buttons
Filters:
- Show filter notifications: toast when torrents are hidden. Active filters themselves (dead torrents, minimum seeders, blocked/required keywords, file size, completed downloads, upload date, and history) and presets are set in the on-page Filters panel
- Auto-load more results: turn on Auto-load above the torrent table and keep fetching until the visible-count target
- Show more until N visible: keep auto-loading until this many torrents remain visible (max 1000; 0 = one extra page at a time)
History:
- Enable history: log visits, magnet copies, downloads, and sends (including torrent view pages). Adds History to the navbar
- Event cap: drop oldest entries when the cap is reached (0 keeps nothing)
- Clear history: wipe the local log
Torrent view page:
- Hide comments
- Improved file list: total and per-folder file counts
- Copy title on click: click the torrent title to copy it
- Copy info hash on click: click the info hash to copy it
Monitoring:
- Manage monitored users and keywords
AnimeTosho:
- Show AnimeTosho links
- Use new AnimeTosho domain (animetosho.xyz vs animetosho.org)
- Show AnimeTosho comments, Screenshots, FileInfo, and Downloads sections
ameNZB (API key in the popup):
- Display ameNZB links and Display ameNZB section
nekoBT:
- Display nekoBT links and Display nekoBT section
- Full language names for audio/subtitle labels
Tsukihime:
- Display Tsukihime links and Display Tsukihime section
Similar Anime:
- Show Similar tab: related, recommended, and same-vibe anime on view pages (nothing is fetched until you open the tab)
- Use TMDB similar and recommendations: replace MAL/AniList user recommendations with TMDB (needs a TMDB API key in the popup)
- Auto-open extra results: expand the “more” lists under each shelf
- Show details on card click: synopsis, score, and links in a modal (Ctrl/Cmd-click still searches)
- Open Quick Search from Similar: fill Quick Search with the title instead of searching Nyaa
- Same vibe mix: two knobs split 100% across genres, tags, and studio
- Clear Similar cache: ID mappings last up to 30 days; recs and details last 24 hours
Additional features:
- Display Best Release (Seadex)
- Screenshot preview with hover delay and image-change interval
- Add Changelog link to navbar and Show changelog popup
Highlights:
- Add keywords or phrases with a color picker; matching torrent names in list tables are tinted with that color
- Prioritize SeaDex highlights: when a torrent matches both SeaDex and a custom keyword, keep the SeaDex color

Parts of this extension were inspired by or adapted from other community projects:
- Nyaa AnimeTosho Extender (ION Fork) by IONI0 - AnimeTosho Screenshots, FileInfo, and Attachments on view pages (episode-specific data, batch file-list selection). Further improved and reimplemented for the extension.
