I am a Computer Science Student at Florida International University (FIU), graduating in Summer 2026. I'm a full-stack developer focused on building complete, well-architected products β from clean backend logic to polished, intuitive interfaces.
My long-term goal is to work at the intersection of AI and computational astrophysics β combining scientific computing, large real-world datasets, and modern software engineering to build tools that turn complex data into something people can actually use and understand.
- AI & Computational Astrophysics: Working with real astronomical datasets (ESA Gaia DR3, NASA JPL) and scientific computing to model and visualize the universe.
- Full-Stack Product Building: Shipping complete products end-to-end β solid backend architecture paired with thoughtful, usable frontends.
- AI Integration: Building AI-powered platforms and leveraging LLMs to turn raw data and documents into actionable insight.
- Real-World Deployment: Taking projects beyond local code into deployed, real-world implementations.
π SkyVault β An interactive 3D night sky for any place and moment, rendering real observational data from the world's leading space institutions β no procedural generation, no faked values, every data point attributed to its source.
- Real astronomical data: ESA Gaia DR3 star positions/magnitudes/parallax, JPL DE421 ephemerides for solar-system bodies, the 88 IAU constellations, the NASA Exoplanet Archive, and CDS SIMBAD metadata.
- Backend β FastAPI + Astropy / Astroquery / jplephem, handling precise coordinate transformations and ephemeris calculations over large catalogs served via NumPy, Pandas & PyArrow.
- Frontend β React + Vite with hand-written Canvas 2D & WebGL rendering (no 3D engine), Zustand for client state and TanStack Query for data fetching.
π DocuMind β An AI-powered financial analysis platform for construction project management, built in Python. Uses AI to parse documents and surface financial insight, turning unstructured project data into clear, decision-ready analysis.
- Scientific Computing: Astropy, numerical methods, and working with large institutional datasets.
- Advanced Backend Architecture: Clean, scalable, and efficient server-side logic.
- AI/LLM Engineering: Document processing, retrieval, and integrating models into real applications.
- Linux Systems Administration: Mastering the command line and shell scripting.
