Navigation Plugin
This plugin provides some navigation functions. The locations, which will in the following be described as point A and point B have to be entered into the Amy location registry. To start with, there are the three locations home, work and mother implemented.
The first function is to calculate the time it takes from point A to point b with a chosen mean of transport. It can also calculate which mean of transport is the fastest to get from point A to point B. The last useful feature is, that Amy can tell you when you have to start your route to arrive at point B to a desired time.
For this plugin you need a valid Google API key. Put this key in a text file is described as follows:
create a new text file in Amy\config with the name io.github.amyassist.amy-plugin-navigation.properties. Open the file with a text editor and put following text in the file:
GOOGLE_API_KEY=YOUR-KEY
The following segments will explain the various features the plugin provides. The commands presented will have agf form as there are sometimes too many possible alternatives for one command to list them entirely. For all possible command variation see in NavigationSpeech.xml You can read all about the agf form and dialogs here.
To calculate the route time from a starting point A to your destination point B the speech command is
get route from SOME-LOCATION to SOME-LOCATION by (car|transport|bike).
There might be differences in the results due to traffic issues or different departure time of public transports.
You can use this as a dialog with this command get route. here you can use tags from the location registry.
To calculate the fastest transport from your starting point A to your destination point B at the given time, there is the speech command:
best transport from SOME-LOCATION to SOME-LOCATION now|TIME.

There are multiple possible speech commands to ask Amy when you have to start at point A to be at a certain time at point. Possible speech command is:
when i have to go from SOME-LOCATION to SOME-LOCATION by car|transit at TIME.
