πΎ Sesame, one of the earliest cultivated oil crops in human history, holds a distinguished place due to its high oil content, rich flavor, and distinctive nutty aroma.
This comprehensive study performed whole-genome resequencing on 5 Egyptian sesame genotypes (Shandaweel 3, Toshky1, and three gamma-irradiated mutant lines) and incorporated 19 publicly available sesame genome datasets.
