[Bug] Enter key does not submit standing prompt — only mouse click works #1506

Closed

Description

@santoshkumarradha

What happened

In the standing-prompt confirmation ("wants to keep a rule"), pressing the Enter key on a selected option does nothing. Only a direct mouse click on an option triggers the action.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Trigger a standing prompt (e.g. wants to keep a rule).
  2. Press Enter (or Return) on the keyboard, focused on or navigating to an option (e.g. 1 Keep this rule).

Expected behavior

Pressing Enter selects the focused/highlighted option and confirms the action.

Actual behavior

No action on Enter keypress; the choice only registers when clicked with the mouse.

    Audited on current dev (39fdbea6f73c). The keyboard fix landed in #1627 (ac84606f4429), including the original #1506 change: Enter takes the answer under the card pointer even when the correction box is empty. Fresh current-dev card/line pointer and Enter tests passed (TestArrowsWalkThePointerOnACardAndEnterTakesIt, TestArrowsWalkThePointerOnALineAndEnterTakesIt, TestEnterTakesTheAnswerThePointerIsOn; included in a 0.061-second focused UI run). The original standing card was later retired by #1831; the shared answer-selection behavior remains covered. Closing as fixed in #1627.
