💡 What: Replaced manual
searchTermtracking and array filtering insideVarietySelect,FarmerSelect, andCertificationSelectwith MUI's built-infilterSelectedOptionsprop.🎯 Why: Tracking input changes via
searchTermtriggered unnecessary React re-renders on every keystroke. This causes performance issues and lag, particularly in lists with many items. Using the built-in property avoids this problem entirely while retaining exact filter behavior.📊 Impact: Reduces input latency in autocomplete dropdowns to effectively zero and eliminates keystroke-triggered re-renders for parent components.
🔬 Measurement: Observe UI responsiveness in the variety, farmer, and certification multi-select dropdowns. Check the React devtools profiler during fast typing; the Autocomplete input should no longer cause the surrounding components to repeatedly re-render.
