push_filescreates its target branch when it does not exist, so the probe's "nonexistent head" was no longer nonexistent by the timecreate_pull_requestran.The head branch was deleted and this PR was closed immediately. The GitHub API offers no way to delete a pull request, so it remains as a closed record.
