Project: Mario-Themed Website Created a Mario-themed website using Alpine.js, inspired by the iconic Super Mario universe. #19
The Big Reveal
Mario website: A modern, responsive personal/professional brand website built for Mario, featuring a bold hero section, about, skills, portfolio highlights, and contact sections with a sophisticated warm-toned dark design.
The Mastermind(s): Vishal Dwivedy (Alpie)
The Elevator Pitch
A clean, polished personal brand website for Mario that makes a strong first impression. It solves the problem of not having a professional online presence by delivering a fully responsive, visually confident site with smooth navigation, real content sections, and a contact form - ready to launch without any backend required.
Alpie Magic & Dogfooding
Alpie features that powered this:
Full single-file HTML/CSS/JS code generation with zero dependencies
Context-aware design decisions (warm palette, dark neutrals, bold typography tailored to the brief)
Responsive layout generation covering mobile through desktop
Component-level thinking applied within a single-file constraint (hero, nav, about, portfolio, contact all structured cleanly)
Form interaction logic with smooth scroll and hover state handling
Pain points and feedback:
Multi-file React project delivery is constrained by single-response format - a file tree or ZIP export feature in Alpie would be a game changer for larger builds
Image placeholder handling works well but live Unsplash integration or an asset picker inside the builder would significantly speed up polished deliveries
A live preview panel alongside the code output would make dogfooding Alpie for web builds feel much more fluid
