How scrollToSlide works?

Hi there.
I read your documentation but didn't understand how to use scrollToSlide.
Can you explain it to me and with an example?
I have to say that I'm building navigation without passing it to control prop, but I want to handle onClick for each controller to scroll on that section.

Hi, first of all why don't you want to pass your custom controls component as a prop to FullPage? If you do this, all the necessary methods will be injected there (Gist).
If you have your reasons not to use the controls prop there is a way to use React refs (Gist). I wouldn't recommend this way, because I consider methods which go the FullPage props more stable and safe.
Finally scrollToSlide accepts a single argument - slide index and returns nothing

Thank you for the example @zwug this is exactly what I needed, same as OP I need to change the active slide from buttons inside slide themselves (controls are good but are "external" to the slides, I use them to show arrows to switch between slides ). I think you can close the issue.
