RuntimeError: Cannot get alternative track

I tried reinstalling multiple times, including the scoop, pipx and zotify, I don't know what to do anymore, pls help :( it worked just fine and then randomly stopped working.

Looks like the issue resides in the changes Spotify made. the librespot repo needs updated as shown here: librespot-org/librespot#1622

I'm sorry, but I really don't know how to actually implement that fix into my pc, can you help me a little? I copied the lines of code that were in the fix into my librespot, but it still doesn't work, do I need to do something else?

Well it isn't up to the zotify dev, because in setup it references https://github.com/kokarare1212/librespot-python.git
so its whenever that gets updated to match the latest librespot release

Sort of, depending on how librespot is implemented. *Edit, I'm actually pretty positive this wont work, since Zotify is bult on librespot and does not simply use librespot as a dependency.

If it's completely on librespot side, then updating just this component after an official release should fix it.
Edit looks like librespot has already had commits that are now working again as expected. I will test to see if updating librespot helps

I would comment on an active repository. This one hasn't been updated in a long time. You can try this one: https://github.com/DraftKinner/zotify

The same issue happened to me, here is what I did to fix it. I am running zotify on a debian 12 lxc.

pipx runpip zotify uninstall librespot-spotizerr

pipx runpip zotify install librespot

I tried the above fix, but it turned out I already had librespot-spotizerr rather than librespot. So I uninstalled/reinstalled librespot, which got me from 0.0.9 to 0.0.10. All working now! (Thanks for the pointers!)
