Tip 0: Windows support for context-bar.sh in statusLine

I noticed that the provided context-bar.sh script for the custom statusLine feature encounters issues when running on Windows (e.g., path separator handling and stat command differences).

Are there any plans to support Windows for this script, or perhaps provide a PowerShell (.ps1) alternative in the future?

@DL1231 not at the moment and I don't have a Windows setup at the moment where I can test it easily!

Both would be acceptable. I have spent countless sessions with ClaudeCode to find a solution with no luck.

I've managed to get Claude to port the statusline script to Node and pasted it up at https://gist.github.com/damieng/2b8d1e41e8094d285b64504be0fc97a5

To use it I use the settings:

  "statusLine": {
    "type": "command",
    "command": "node ~/.claude/statusline.js"
  }

Seems to be working well so far but not extensively tested.
