UP: #195 rebootstrap topic-bound orchestrator prompts #197

Description

@fujiwaranosai850

Promotion tracker

This issue owns the full local-first promotion lane for #195.

Current promotion phase

  • up:handoff-ready
  • local review is complete
  • local truth contains the accepted fix
  • upstream export package is prepared
  • waiting on human-controlled upstream PR opening

Source fix

Local-truth review phase

Human validation status

  • Operator reported human live testing passed
  • Validated lane is now devclaw-local-current
  • Live validation was completed before export prep continued

Upstream issue linkage

Export package

  • Export branch: pr/195-fresh-session-rebootstrap
  • Export branch exists on fork: yes
  • Export branch HEAD: 791545388321cd2cce51d295eb3fefa4e626d4c9

Compare URL status

  • Compare URL prepared: yes
  • See latest issue comment for the exact URL and pastable upstream PR package

Active blocker or human-only step

  • Human must open the upstream DevClaw official PR from the prepared compare URL

Remaining close gates

  • human opens the upstream PR on laurentenhoor/devclaw
  • local tracker records the upstream PR URL and enters up:watching-upstream
  • upstream lane resolves
  • release-lane cleanup is recorded

Notes

  • Promotion is orchestrator-owned per local runbook.
  • Do not treat worker completion as promotion completion.
  • The fix being promoted addresses stale /new orchestrator bootstrap reuse on topic-bound sessions.
  • A targeted source-tree test run on the pr/* export worktree hit an upstream-main defaults-path harness problem while loading template defaults. That affected export-branch source test execution, not the accepted local-truth fix or the human-tested live behavior.
