Currently there are various states that groups and projects can be in. But there needs to be info indicating that the customer has approved the group and project, so the prof can give the go-ahead, or alternatively that the prof has given the go-ahead conditional on the customer (client) confirming.
Also if two groups have applied to the same project, then when the customer approves one group, there needs to be way for the other group(s) to be in a status showing that another group now has this project ...
