Setting your ROS_HOSTNAME and ROS_MASTER_URI

Hi,
How to Set the ROS_HOSTNAME and ROS_MASTER_URI in my windows environment variables?

Sorry for asking a very basic question.

If I remember right you need to set them in your system]s environmental variables. Create two new variables, one for each, set there names to ROS_HOSTNAME and ROS_MASTER_URI and set their values to the appropriate IP address. Remeber to use http:// and :port for the master URI

In control panel, goto system, choose advanced settings, then choose environment variables. They can be either user or system variables. The user one take precedence if defined. One liner(ish) to get to the env vars page (in cmd or Run) "C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe" sysdm.cpl,EditEnvironmentVariables
