What is the problem?
Hello,
The extension subcommand is not recognized on the latest version of the CLI, even after a full clean reinstall.
- CLI Version: twitch-cli/1.1.24 (and latest)
- OS Version: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.26100.6725]
The Problem:
Any command starting with twitch extension fails with the error unknown command "extension" for "twitch".
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
- Confirmed the CLI version is up to date.
- The issue happens in both PowerShell and Command Prompt (cmd.exe).
- Performed a full clean reinstall: deleted the executable and the
%USERPROFILE%\.twitch-cli config folder.
- Moved the project to a neutral directory (
C:\projects) to rule out OneDrive conflicts.
- The issue persists even when running
cmd.exe as an Administrator.
- The command
where twitch run from outside the project folder returns no results, confirming no other conflicting executable exists on the system PATH.
This appears to be a fundamental incompatibility bug with this specific Windows build.
