Feature request - per-page optional media wiki syntax

I'm interested in having the option for a particular page to render Dokuwiki syntax or Media wiki syntax. One proposal would be for Media wiki syntax to be enclosed in some tag such as anything after ~~MEDIAWIKI~~ or text between <mw>..</mw> tags. A configuration setting could enable this behavior.

interesting... then why would one want this? Can you give an example?

I like this idea: I'm using Mediasyntax because I migrated a bunch of pages away from an old Mediawiki, but the support is not complete (for example, the code editor media popup will insert DokuWiki syntax image links, and so on).

So it would make sense to use DokuWiki syntax on some pages (the new ones) and in the long run convert everything to native DokuWiki syntax.
