moved to a feature request issue #3488 good idea, would make it simpler rather than having yet another set of weather sensors |

Not sure if ML Load has been optimised for the data output format in the Open-Meteo API, but I suspect a large number of people already were collecting weather forecast that are in the standardised weather integration.
Rather than duplicating data across Predbat/Predheat/ML Load, would it be possible to pass in a weather entity and indicate somehow (a switch somewhere?) that you are using a weather entity with the temperature attibute? Similar to how the Home Assistant Solcast integration is used for PV power prediction instead of directly polling Solcasts API (though I'm aware that is an option within Predbat).
