SpreadPaper takes one photograph and spreads it across every monitor on your desk, carrying the picture on behind the bezels instead of starting it again on each screen. It is free, open source, and native to macOS. This release is 1.10.0, and the project has moved house: the website now lives at spreadpaper.app, in its own repository.
A wallpaper here is one of three things: a single still image, a light one paired with a dark one that follows the system appearance, or up to sixteen images on a schedule through the day. Whichever you pick, every monitor gets its slice of the same picture, and they all change together.
Two repositories instead of one
The app lives in spreadpaper/SpreadPaper. The site lives in spreadpaper/website. They release on their own schedules, so a new SpreadPaper version now means the app itself changed — a headline reworded on the site no longer arrives as an update with nothing in it.
The new address, spreadpaper.app
The site moved from
spreadpaper.github.io/SpreadPaperto spreadpaper.app, rebuilt on Astro and served from Cloudflare's edge. The pages are smaller, and the address is one you can say out loud.Old

Rendered files are tidied up properly. SpreadPaper writes one image file per display. Renders and folders that no display or preset could reach any more were being left behind; they are now collected. If you have been using SpreadPaper across several monitor arrangements, this reclaims the disk space they were holding.
The release also carries the repository split and the move to the new domain.
Fixes since 1.8.0
If you are coming from 1.8.0 or earlier, the last few releases were mostly repair work — nineteen fixes. The ones most likely to have affected you:

Download, and what it needs
Download SpreadPaper — DMG or ZIP. macOS 15 Sequoia or later, on an Apple Silicon Mac. Free and open source under the MIT licence.
SpreadPaper is not signed with a paid Apple Developer ID, so macOS will stop the first launch. The download section on the site shows both ways through it, and it only happens once.
