Become a sponsor to TraceApps
Hi, I'm Joe
I build free, open source apps you run on your own server. Your data stays on your hardware, with no accounts, no telemetry, and no cloud sync unless you opt in. I build and maintain all of them myself.
- NutriTrace: nutrition tracking
- LiftTrace: weightlifting tracking
- CookTrace: recipes, pantry, and cooking
- NoteTrace: notes that are quick to capture and work offline
- Fathom: an all-in-one Jellyfin client for desktop and Android
What monthly sponsorship covers
Right now: the tools I use to build and test the apps, about $100 a month.
Next, once that's covered: a public demo instance so people can try the apps before installing anything, and a proper domain.
A Mac and an iPhone
Separately, support on Ko-fi goes toward a Mac and an iPhone so my apps can come to Apple devices. That's a one-time goal, and the full breakdown is on the Support page.
What sponsorship does not buy
Everything is AGPL-3.0 and free, forever. There are no locked features, no sponsor-only builds, no early access, and no priority support. Sponsorship is a thank-you for work that already exists.
Helping without money
Starring the repos, reporting bugs with detail, and translating all count, and stars are how self-hosted projects get found.
2 sponsors have funded TraceApps’s work.
