Easy guide to set up the splitter for input sentences

Goodmorning,
me and my team are trying to create concept maps from texts and we would like to find a reliable splitter. Is there a simple guide to set up the splitter from the beginning? Are there no already trained models? There are so many files and I don't know where to begin, I'm a bit new to Python too.
