Subject: [PATCH] footer: drop cache-age/scan-recency text, fix label click
 hitboxes, relocate version badge

Cache age and "just scanned" wording made the repo/app counts look stale
and were irrelevant to the user. Checkbox and dropdown <label> wrappers
stretched full-row width, so clicking empty space beside them toggled or
focused the control unintentionally — constrained them to their content
width. The persistent version number now only shows in the Settings
footer (left-aligned, blue, no separator) instead of every screen; the
update-available button is unaffected.
