At the moment, the default behavior on touch devices shows the settings on 5 taps. As an UI/UX professional, I tell you that a lot of people have kinda ticks and one of ten (random number) might trigger this by accident. Maybe you could predefined patterns/taps or what ever from one the user could pick in the future. Some ideas could be:
- tap 5 times in the left bottom corner (default)
- tap X times in a custom corner
- allow to increase the tapping to 10 or more times
- Hold down in a custom set corner for X seconds
- Draw a pattern on the screen (Z or W or whatever)
- Or if possible make use of the physical buttons like holding Vol up + Vol Down or something
Just some random ideas. No important feature but QOL improvements.
