Enabling custom shader gives me partial black screen and flickering #100

Description

@cgeorgiu

When I enable custom shaders with the Crystal Super Ultrawide driver, the whole VR image basically turns black.

What’s strange is that if I move my head around or move around the room, I can sometimes see tiny parts of the actual image appearing in a small box/area. That part flickers really fast, almost like some kind of BFI or strobing effect. Most of the image stays completely black though.

The interesting part is that the overlay still renders perfectly fine. If I open the overlay, I can see the overlay itself, my controllers, and any desktop windows normally. Everything there looks correct.

At the same time, behind the overlay I can still see the black screen and those small flickering parts of the game image.

So it seems like the headset/display is still rendering correctly in general, because the overlay and controllers are completely fine. It only seems to affect the main VR image when custom shaders are enabled.

As soon as I disable the shaders, the image goes back to normal.

I'm on windows 11 with a 5090 and 7950x3d
