I want to have a DJ mode with big controls to manage a filter (like pioneer filter, make it nice), some basic echo, that allows me to play a playlist through, maybe loop a bit so I can talk, call that "talk mode" where it finds the next loopable section, ideally in an intro or outro (i can trigger this myself, but I'll need to have big buttons as I'll be managing a mixer as well). then yeah, just make sure all the tracks we're playing in the set are available locally, I need a big test button that just tests that all the local tracks are there and then yeah I'm going to just plug it into the mixer and press play. you can gently fade from track to track or I'll press a button to trigger a fade (sometimes the outros of the tracks get crazy). help me think if there's anything else — i just want to play on the radio. i was originally making the sync so I could get everything exported and put onto CDJs and all, but I think this is much better. long fades, visual feedback of the state (use a state machine) and some basic effects in the app is a much better solution. these things that help me make space and develop the language of my set are great and will make me distinctive. im very excited about this. i have all of this on my 36247 app for my latest stout junts and I want to show my process for creating the dj mode as my next post on instagram. keep that in mind and let's swarm on this and come up with something super special to share.
