🧪 Community Testing: Other Synaccess Device Models

Overview

Collect community feedback and testing results for Synaccess netCommander/netBooter devices beyond the tested NP-0501DU model to expand compatibility documentation.

Tested Device

✅ Synaccess netBooter™ Model: NP-0501DU (5-outlet model)

• Fully tested and working
• All features confirmed: outlet control, monitoring, reboot
• Physical outlet mapping documented

Help Expand Compatibility!

We need community testing to verify compatibility with other Synaccess models:

Potentially Compatible Models

• Other netBooter™ series: NP-0501, NP-0201, NP-0801, etc.
• netCommander series devices
• Different outlet counts: 2, 4, 6, 8+ outlet models
• Different firmware versions

How to Test

1. Install integration via HACS (as custom repository for now)
2. Configure with your device IP and credentials
3. Test thoroughly:
   • ✅ Device detection and setup
   • ✅ Outlet control (on/off/reboot)
   • ✅ Status monitoring (current, temperature)
   • ✅ Physical outlet mapping verification
4. Report results in this issue

What to Report

Please provide:

Device Information

• Model number (e.g., "NP-0501DU")
• Outlet count (e.g., "5 outlets")
• Firmware version (if accessible)
• Device age/purchase date (approximate)

Test Results

• ✅ Working / ❌ Not Working / ⚠️ Partial
• Outlet mapping: Which HA entity controls which physical outlet
• Any error messages or issues encountered
• Special configuration needed (if any)

Integration Features to Test

• Outlet Control: Turn outlets on/off via HA switches
• Outlet Reboot: Power cycle outlets via HA buttons
• Current Monitoring: Total current sensor readings
• Temperature Monitoring: Device temperature sensor
• Entity Grouping: All entities grouped under device
• State Synchronization: UI updates after commands

Important Notes

⚠️ Physical outlet mapping may vary between models - please test which HA entity controls which physical outlet!

🔧 Device Configuration: Ensure "Lock Web Outlet ON/OFF And Reboot Operation" is unchecked in device settings.
