Hi I will work on it, is it acceptable to use selenium or such a browser emulation library? Or a library such as requests / urllib would be ok?

I doubt that requests would help here, though I haven't tried - I would really be happy if just requests would be enough.
The payment page contains an iframe which itself does some redirects, so... it may be tricky.

I do. Please use requests or mechanize-level abstraction and don't go all the way to full browser automation.

Noted, I gave a quick look there are a lot of AJAX requests and it seems that the forms are generated at client level.
In general, assuming there aren't blockers that I haven't noticed, it should be possible to do it with requests but the solution might require more than a few requests, so it might end up being quite convoluted.

I would suggest to use headless chromium if possible, if that is an hard requirement I will work with requests

PR created, I had to create a fork as I do not have enough rights on this repo to create a new branch.
The code does not require chromium or selenium, it is a bit long, but should be reasonable.
