MAL not syncing when selecting NONE option

Steps to reproduce

When I am enabling None option by sliding left of an anime , it is not syncing . Instead of syncing with none , it is automatically selecting watching option . Please solve it I love your app .

Expected behavior

It should sync with none option but not syncing . ( I am talking about MAL option which comes when you slide anime info page )

Hey, just wanted to say this is still happening to me .
When I try to set the status to None (to remove the entry), it automatically switches back to Watching instead of deleting it.
Still happens on the latest version. Would be nice if this got fixed someday 🙏
