Subtitles loaded from internet not working

Steps to reproduce

1. Select a movie
2. Play it
3. Select source
4. Select load from internet
5. Search for the subtitle using movie name and year
6. Load a subtitle
7. It says 'no subtitles', same thing happens with all the subtitles none of them work

Expected behavior

Selected subtitles should load up and play with the movie

Actual behavior

It shows no subtitles instead

I have tried the 'Load first available' option on many series and movies and every time I have encountered this problem. Not the same option you choose, but same error.

I have the same exact issue. Im at the latest stable version of cloudstream. 4.8.0. Has there been any update about this issue, id really appreciate it.
Is it necessary to have a subtitle account logged in for it to work? When searching subtitle via the internet, results pops up but when selecting it, it will show no subtitle.

sorry this doesn't help, but i figured i'd say: I constantly seem to have a few issues with the player, so I just switched to sources that provide subtitles and made CloudStream open all links in NextPlayer.

imo, watching content in CloudStream itself is just not a good experience. for example:

1. audio tracks just sometimes aren't even detected and so you hear nothing (solution right now: use a different player)
2. 1440p+ content that definitely works on a device will just cause the player to crash and burn because the "decoding resources" are overused (it's some bs error like that, i can't remember the exact wording) (solution right now: use a different player)

these 2 issues like this make me really despise CloudStream's current built-in player and make it an unusable experience
