[Bug]: With latest version (2.5.2 (4045)) the input window does not show

Bug description

I run Mac OS 14.7.6 on a MacBook Pro. After recently updating to Quicksilver version 2.5.2 (4045), it stopped displaying the input window (the one into which you type the first characters of the item looked for).
No change after multiple restarts.
QS works perfectly well before the update, but I recall that there had to be a fix because the input window showed partly off screen). Now, no window at all.

Steps to reproduce

1.Type F12 (which is my shortcut for QS). The cube appears briefly , then nothing.

Expected behavior

The input window should appear in the middle of the screen.

I found a roundabout solution by chance !
If the "About QuickSilver" window is showing, after the cube disappears the input window is displayed.
Without the the "About QuickSilver" window showing, no input window.

What interface are you using?

I use the Primer interface. But the bug is the same with the other interface.

By the way, after a restart of my computer, the solution having the "About Quicksilver" window open stopped working.

• Please update to 2.5.3 (just released recently) -- I wouldn't expect this to change anything
• What happens if you use a different trigger? Could it be a problem with F12?
• In general, it's helpful to remove local configuration to debug these changes; the general process is to rename the preference lists and application support files (they will be recreated from scratch on the next launch; these blank versions can then be deleted and the prior versions un-renamed to restore things). Are you familiar with this process?

This issue is pending a response and is blocked until I have more info. To keep the issue list groomed, I will often close these stalled issues if they go a prolonged time without a response. In this case, I will give it another week or so.
