Firefighters have regularly asked us to have the option of an audio alarm on the platform when a new alert is received.
However, some of them do not want an audio alarm.
Would be great to have a button to activate/deactivate alert sound.
Suggestion
- Add a button (maybe a toggle or switch button ? Do not know exactly, open to suggestions) in the top right corner of the main page (to the left of language options)
- Maybe the best scenario is to have it activated by default (and those who will be annoyed can deactivate it)
- About the sound itself, open to suggestions :)
As a first version of this feature, because saving the default preference would imply saving the info in our backend, we could consider it is okay that, we get default behavior on (or maybe it can be stored in web cache ?)
