Unable to Locate save (slot#.lua)

I would like to transfer my save data from the Standalone version to the PCVR version. When browsing the pokemon-love2d/saves folder in SideQuest, it appears to be empty. The save appears just fine in the app itself, though.
When downloading the entire folder, the contents are also empty. How can I locate and extract my save in order to continue my journey on PCVR?

I see contents there

You'll need to use ADB. I assume MTP can't see it.

EDIT: There's nothing under that save folder (checked with root)

save.lua in pokemon-love2d is your save.

According to adb, both within SideQuest and CMD, permission is denied to access any of these files.

Oh shit yeah. I assumed if you could see them they were accessible.

So yeah the program would need an export option it seems.
