Add status-tap event

Is it possible to add a status-tap event like here:

A while back (~6 months ago) this was the only working plugin with a status-tap event I was able to find https://github.com/welldone-software/cordova-statusTap. Not sure if it's still working now, but worked great when I used it in my app.
