Location not updated in Android App (but in Apple it does)

I succesfully installed the App on my Pixel 9 Pro and exported/imported my 4 tags. In the first instance, it didn't work. After reading some issues here i tried different anisette servers and then it worked. however, position of my tags is not updated since the import in the app. in apples find my, it does. Any suggestions? Thank you, a lot, in advance!

This should fix a lot of missing positions. For now you will only get a subset of them. That batch of work would also hopefully include a more convenient fix for the anisette server.

(I'm currently a bit sidetracked by work and life stuff so haven't had a chance to get to it yet but I will try to do it as soon as I have more free time, unless somebody else contributes the parts before me)

Thank you! Just to get you right: Since I do not have the knowledge or competence to help you, I need to wait, right? No way of setting something up in my configuration to improve this, correct?

Unfortunately yes for now, this requires relatively major code changes. Hopefully when it's done all you'll have to do is just download the latest version of the app and everything will work automatically

OK, got it. Thank you, a lot, for this work! Will highly appreciate and wait for the update. for the moment I cannot use it then, aimed to track our kids to see whether tey left school but it did not update position for 8 hours, whereas on our old iPhone it does update every approx. 5 mins...
